Advanced Life Support CoAI - Sri Lanka

This Advanced Life Support (ALS) provider course has been developed by Resuscitation Council of the COAISL, based on the latest 2021 ERC guidelines. This course teaches evidence-based resuscitation guidelines and skills to healthcare professionals, using a standardized approach.

This course will prepare members of multi-disciplinary teams to manage peri-arrest situations and to treat the patient until transfer to a critical care unit.

It is expected that all candidates are competent in BLS (CPR) and this must be achieved prior to attending the ALS course.

Pre-course preparation

  • The ALS course manual & study material is available for online access on the Resuslanka learning management system (LMS) that provides candidates with course material and the pre course assessment.
